I feel so lucky to have found your page a few days before the end of 2024. Thank you for sharing this! I share the same emotions around substack and treating this place like a sacred little corner for my thoughts to be spilled out without shame. It took me forever to make the jump from sharing story telling captions on instagram to a public forum like this. I can feel how proud you are of yourself through your words and I instantly feel happiness for you, which is motivating and inspiring. Girl I have had similar inhibitions and self-doubt about writing and new year resolutions in general. I'm scared to make them, because if i do I have this pressure of achieving all of it, that too perfectly.If perfection is not attained and I falter I feel anxious and demotivated. So this was a comforting essay to start writing, especially start posting and more more more emphatically writing for yourself. I needed to hear this. I feel seen and pumped. Love you. Great advice more of like pacification ❤️
